Red Oolong (红乌龙) from Wuliang Mountain is crafted at ~2100m from the Hongxin Wawei Tie Guan Yin cultivar, harvested and processed on September 28, 2024. It sits in the overlap zone between oolong and black tea: oxidation is pushed very high (near full), yet the goal is to keep an oolong-style aromatic architecture—floral and fruit notes that rise above a deeper, warmer body.会员笔记 2 条

Excellent, vibrant fragance, non bitter or astringent, easy to brew. That the kind of tea i could brew to impress my friends. Feels relaxing
0 TDS distilled water with TeaCurious x recipe to make x TDS water. Very good tea. The mix between a black and oolong is interesting and really plays up both styles' strengths.

Very unique, very enjoyable. Rating Criteria: 0.5 - bad, flavorless, or worse very astringent, teabag 1.0 - mostly bad, flavorless, most teabag tea 1.5 - not good, but maybe something to like 2.0 - slightly disappointed, not my kind of tea, but still can appreciate it - probably the worst rating I would give a loose leaf tea (at least one that hasn't turned bad) 2.5 - mixed feelings, like it, but there is something off about it I don't like 3.0 - good, I like it but nothing stand out about it or a very good tea with one critique that holds me back - probably the highest I would give a teabag tea 3.5 - very good, a tea that I was very happy to have but content with what I had, wouldn't seek it out for additional purchase 4.0 - great, very happy with the experience, would seek out for purchase, but only occasionally 4.5 - a favorite, one I love and want very often 5.0 - life will be very sad without it, reserved only for my favorites (roasted Tie Guan Yin & Dancong Red), room for more hopefully

Da Tian Mei Ren (大田美人) is one of the clearest modern examples of Fujian–Taiwan technique exchange evolving into a localized tradition. The style traces back to 1998, when Taiwanese Eastern Beauty know-how was introduced to Datian County.会员笔记 4 条

My partner rates 4, but I don't like floral or spicy teas so this is a 3 for me. If you like Cloves, Cardamom, Cherry blossom, and Rose then you will like this tea. I can taste the clean quality.

The slight stone fruit or bergemont notes come out in later steepings. Good quality (just not my flavor preferences)
Good tea with interesting geranium fragance at first, some sweetness. To me it miss some camphor notes. It is slightly astringent at the end i wouldn't pass the 85°c for it for next time.

Great honey flavor with a light floral not that isn't overly perfumy.

我们写给会员的英文介绍(开头)
This tea is Wuliang Mountain, Yunnan’s interpretation of Eastern Beauty (东方美人)—a high-oxidation oolong influenced by tea jassid (Jacobiasca formosana, 小绿叶蝉), prized for honeyed aromatics and a lifted, fruit-and-floral profile. In early summer, the jassid feeds on young leaves, triggering the plant’s natural defense response and subtly reshaping leaf chemistry.会员笔记 3 条

It's a nice, clean complex tea. It's not my cuppa because it has more floral than I prefer. But I did appreciate the complexity of the notes including buttery, raisins, floral, vegetal, etc.

Good tea, i'm not a fan of the astringency. I think i have tested better OB from Yunnan.

This is a high-elevation Jin Xuan Oolong (金萱乌龙) from Wuliang Mountain, crafted in a Taiwanese-leaning oolong style that highlights cultivar expression shaped by mountain climate. Harvested and processed on April 30, 2025, it comes from a tea garden at ~1900m, where the slopes spend much of the year under mist and high humidity and sunlight arrives mostly as soft, diffused illumination.会员笔记 5 条

It's a clean and gentle "milk oolong". It's not as creamy as others I've had, but there was some in first few steepings. It was a bright citrus profile imo (lemon, lime) and notes of asparagus.
Very smooth and endurant tea. Could be a 5/5 but unfortunately i don't like the nutmeg notes. I really liked the aftertaste, at some point it felt like ripe mangoes. It was unique and delightful
Milky & creamy with high fruit and floral sweetness.
